End of the 70s more than 100,000 housing units where equipped with MULTIBETON underfloor heating systems. Within many construction objects using our heating or cooling system you will find many known names such as the cathedrals of Canterbury, Chester and Evry or the Palace of Human Rights in Strasbourg. Several millions of installed heating systems, long year free of damage, prove the quality of MULTIBETON systems – and number are raising.
Ktr France is part of a German industrial group specializing in mechanical transmission who bought an old office building of 1970 in Dardilly (Frankreich) to carry out an exemplary eco-renovation in line with the group's values and image. Architect Marc Campesi and the building‘s owner selected the priority objectives: a low carbon approach, health and comfort.
The surface of 854 m² equipped with a Multibeton underfloor heating and cooling (MB screed system 17) besides a hybride photovoltaic / solar energy system, a geothermical heat pump and heat storage 150 m deep in the ground allow a consumption of only 26 Mwh and a production of 42 MWh per year.
The building got the Green Solutions Award 2018 of the Construction21 Networks in the field of Sustainable Renovation.
